About the Role

Shine is building the pan-European tax & year-end engine and a winning product for tax advisors and CPAs in Germany. This is a rare opportunity to build a new area from scratch, with the reach and domain depth of Europe's accounting leader behind you.

Responsibilities

Own the Tax & Year-End product strategy and roadmap end-to-end.
Build the German tax advisor / CPA offering.
Drive structured discovery across France, Germany and Spain.
Build and lead product teams, hiring and developing PMs.
Architect for two segments from day one: a comprehensive solution for CPAs and tax advisors and a simplified DIY solution for the Micro segment.
Orchestrate across the ecosystem, partnering with Core Accounting and Advisor areas, common ledger teams, and local products.
Track key metrics including active tax advisors, year-end closings and filings, revenue, and adoption and efficiency metrics.

Requirements

Led product teams building complex B2B SaaS products.
Experience in launching new products and finding product-market fit with demanding professional users.
Strong understanding of the accounting and tax space in Germany.
Experience with DATEV or a comparable player.
Understanding of a Steuerberater's year-end process, including closing, adjustments, filings, and transmission.
Ability to see shared versus local aspects across European markets for scalable platform architecture.
Experience as a product leader, giving PMs ownership and setting outcome-based goals.
Proficiency in using AI tooling in workflow.
Ability to shape product bets where AI is a core capability.
Ability to hold the tension between shipping near-term in Germany and building an engine for European scale.
Precise communication skills with engineers, tax advisors, and leadership.
Fluent in English and German.
French is a plus.
