About the Role

The Desktop Support Specialist will provide comprehensive IT support to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Information Directorate, covering areas such as service desk, desktop support, network management, enterprise services, cybersecurity, and specialized information systems. This role is crucial for maintaining seamless IT operations and supporting the full client system lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Perform WDS/PXE imaging for client system deployment.
Join client systems to a Windows domain.
Deliver client systems to users.
Perform backup and restore of user profiles.
Configure user-facing applications.
Troubleshoot printer and file share connections.
Provide general troubleshooting for user-facing applications.

Requirements

Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
CompTIA Security+ certification.

Salary/Compensations

$50,000 - $55,000
