About the Role

The Grocery Merchandiser will manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks, including taking pictures and completing reporting requirements with provided technology. This position requires merchandising and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts.
Ensuring clients' products are well stocked and ordering if product is not in stock or low.
Consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication.
Switching between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams.
Gaining and maintaining product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
Ordering products and working product to shelves from new orders.
Conducting audits in area grocery stores.
Traveling to and between store locations within the designated territory.
Verifying that clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
Maintaining a safe working environment while working in the stores.
Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to dress code and attendance guidelines.
Complying with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
Attending client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

Requirements

Ability to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time.
Ability to work independently, follow directions, and possess excellent communication skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation.
Valid Driver License.
Proof of Automobile insurance.
Reliable phone (within 5 years old) service and internet service for daily communication.
Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory to complete retail tasks & audits at local grocery retailer.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus (but not required).
