About the Role
Solactive AG is seeking a talented individual to join their Complex Operations team. This role involves developing and optimizing tools and processes, onboarding and maintaining quantitative index models, assisting clients with inquiries, and serving as a model and data expert for daily index calculation production. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in financial markets, index calculation, and algorithmic investment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Continuously developing and optimizing of existing tools and processes
- Onboarding new and maintaining existing quantitative index models based on derivatives, FX as well as Equities and Fixed Income securities for our clients
- Assisting clients with index and/or operational inquiries
- Serve as a model and data expert for the daily index calculation production
Requirements
- Academic degree in (Quantitative) Finance, Financial Engineering, Information Technologies or similar
- Solid knowledge in capital markets
- At least 3 years of experience in the financial industry
- Proven programming skills in Python
- Good command of MS Office
- Experience with Reuters, FactSet or Bloomberg would be a plus
- Team-orientation and strong sense of responsibility and accuracy
- Self-driven, organized and innovative approach to work
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
