About the Role
Join our IT-Security consulting team in Berlin and develop your expertise in ISMS, Audit, and network security. We support companies in establishing and certifying Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) according to ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and enhancement of ISMS according to ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz.
- Support the preparation, execution, and follow-up of audits.
- Conduct initial risk and protection needs analyses under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
- Create and maintain policies, processes, and security documentation.
- Assist with gap analyses and maturity assessments.
- Participate in advising business units on information security, compliance, and emergency management.
- Support the implementation and operation of security solutions (e.g., SIEM, IAM, firewalls, endpoint security).
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
- Initial practical experience in IT Security, ISMS, compliance, or IT network architectures (e.g., through internships or working student positions).
- Basic knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or BSI IT-Grundschutz.
- Interest in audits and regulatory requirements.
- Analytical thinking and structured working methods.
- Willingness to learn and motivation to develop in the field of information security.
- Good communication skills and team orientation.
- German language skills at least at C1 level.
