About the Role
As a (Senior) Consultant Post Merger Integration / Carve-Out, you will advise companies on national and international transactions, focusing on strategic and operational issues. You will support clients in Post Merger Integration (PMI), Carve-Out, or Due Diligence, defining, evaluating, and implementing integration/carve-out strategies, introducing new operating models, and managing synergy potentials and change management measures. For Due Diligence, you will assess operational, financial, or IT-specific risks and opportunities, and prepare relevant reports. You will lead project modules, conduct independent operational analyses, and create presentations and project documents. Utilizing the latest technologies and AI solutions, you will accelerate strategic decisions and ensure successful transactions.
Responsibilities
- Advise companies on national and international transactions, focusing on strategic and operational issues.
- Support clients in Post Merger Integration (PMI), Carve-Out, or Due Diligence.
- Define, evaluate, and implement integration/carve-out strategies.
- Support the introduction of new 'Operating Models'.
- Realize and implement identified synergy potentials and change management measures.
- Conduct operational, financial, or IT-specific risk and opportunity assessments for Due Diligence.
- Prepare Due Diligence reports regarding IT, Finance, HR, or Operations.
- Lead project sub-modules.
- Conduct independent operational analyses.
- Create presentations, reports, and other project documents.
- Accelerate strategic decisions using the latest technologies and AI solutions.
Requirements
- Completed studies in business administration or a comparable field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transaction consulting as well as mergers and acquisitions (integration, carve-out, or due diligence projects).
- Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
