About the Role

As part of our Deals team, you will support companies in all phases of the Deal Cycle, from identifying suitable purchase or sale options to closing negotiations. You will cover company and market analysis, advice on tax and legal issues, and integration. This role allows you to keep the entire transaction process in view, minimizing risks and maximizing benefits. We combine industry and functional expertise with powerful tools, following a "human-led and tech-powered" approach. Work on exciting projects with incredible topic diversity, integrated into a flexible workday.

Responsibilities

  • Advise companies on strategic and operational transaction issues, supporting in Post Merger Integration (PMI), Carve-Out, or Due Diligence.
  • Define, evaluate, and implement integration/carve-out strategies.
  • Implement new operating models, derive and implement synergy potentials, and manage change processes.
  • Conduct operational, financial, or IT-specific risk and opportunity assessments in Due Diligence.
  • Create Due Diligence reports regarding IT, Finance, HR, or Operations.
  • Lead project modules and conduct independent operational investigations.
  • Prepare presentations and documentation.
  • Assume personnel responsibility.
  • Accelerate strategic decisions using the latest technologies and customized AI solutions to create a solid foundation for sustainable transaction success.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in economics or a comparable field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in industry or management consulting in Finance Strategy, Target Operating Model, Finance Organization, Finance Transformation, Corporate Planning, Management Reporting, Cash Management, Cost Accounting, and/or Finance Processes (PTP, RTR, OTC etc.).
  • Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
