About the Role
The Coordinator will support the Government and Community Relations team with data tracking, event logistics, material preparation, and general administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Handle administrative responsibilities for the department, including writing meeting minutes, delivering materials to elected officials and commissioners, and arranging tickets for performances.
- Maintain systems for all documents, databases, and contacts used by Government and Community Relations, updating information as necessary.
- Use Tessitura for stakeholder contact details, tracking interactions, plans, and awarded government appropriations.
- Research and establish efficient update methods for Tessitura for each GCR team member.
- Track tickets, attendance, performance metrics, and budgets in Excel.
- Coordinate event and ticketing logistics, including communications with other departments and external partners.
- Develop documents with focused research and data relevant to government and community leaders.
- Develop initial drafts of internal and external materials, such as newsletters, collateral for government meetings, and budget hearing testimony.
- Manage the calendar of community and government events and partner meetings, as well as the schedule for prep deliverables.
- Provide research support on prospect and partnership pipeline.
- Assist with Lincoln Center’s submission of various city and state reports and applications by compiling raw data.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-year related experience.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience working in an office environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience with a CRM or donor database like Tessitura.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) and Canva.
- Knowledge of government, local community issues, and organizations.
- Ability to work independently, reliably, and be self-motivated.
- A collaborative, communicative, and flexible attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bilingual and literate in Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus, but not required.
