Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with one year experience in the mental health or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work with persons with mental illness/substance use disorders to support recovery is required.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic documentation systems required.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, collaborate effectively with others, exercise sound judgment, and build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must successfully enroll in the Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) training program within a timeframe established by the organization and obtain CPRP certification within a reasonable period of time as determined by the organization, unless otherwise approved by management.
- Must be able to be reached by phone and have a vehicle to transport and complete organization business.
- Valid NYS Driver's License required in accordance with Unity House policies; ability to travel in surrounding area.
