About the Role
Medsender is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own and develop their AI-native patient engagement product. You will work closely with customers to understand their workflows, identify areas for AI intervention, and guide the product from its current MVP to a best-in-class solution. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, the ability to prototype and iterate, and a focus on building trusted AI agents.
Responsibilities
- Build real relationships with practice staff and leaders, observe their work, and understand the patient perspective.
- Identify workarounds and friction points beyond explicit feature requests.
- Set product direction, prioritize problems, and manage the product lifecycle from discovery to measurable results.
- Enhance the current MVP into a best-in-class product through customer feedback and iterative refinement.
- Define and build AI agents that complete tasks reliably, ensuring clear handoffs between AI and human staff.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and utilize AI coding tools for product investigation and testing.
- Track key metrics such as work completed, time saved for staff, patient follow-through, and adoption rates.
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and shape future releases.
Requirements
- Proven experience independently owning a B2B SaaS product area and delivering results.
- Experience with products where the buyer and daily user are different individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to make product decisions based on direct customer observation rather than just requests.
- Track record of substantially improving a product over multiple release cycles and maintaining accountability for its performance.
- Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) is required.
- Technical fluency, including reasoning about system behavior, querying data, and evaluating AI-generated code.
- Comfort making decisions with incomplete information in a fast-paced environment.
