Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a rolling calendar of events, prioritizing against pipeline gaps, regional targets, and industry focus areas.
- Evaluate event opportunities against clear go/no-go criteria, including audience fit, pipeline value, and cost.
- Translate product launches and market narratives into event concepts.
- Own end-to-end event management, including concepting, budgeting, logistics, staffing, and on-site execution.
- Maintain event trackers for leadership visibility into timelines, dependencies, budgets, and next steps.
- Manage relationships with venues, event organizers, vendors, and sponsorship contacts.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for logistics, registration, speaker coordination, and attendee experience.
- Partner with the Head of Marketing to integrate AI-first ways of working into event marketing.
- Become proficient in AI tools for multi-step event workflows like briefing documents, planning, synthesis, and reporting.
- Use AI tools for rapid production of event assets.
- Help evaluate new AI capabilities and advise on workflow connections to the broader CRM ecosystem.
- Develop pre-event, during-event, and post-event communication plans.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all event touchpoints.
- Partner with Sales, BDRs, and solution teams to equip customer-facing teams with event assets.
- Align with central IFS demand, digital, and regional marketing teams.
- Monitor execution across workstreams, remove blockers, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Define and track KPIs for every event, including registrations, attendance, cost per lead, cost per meeting, pipeline generated, and marketing-influenced revenue.
- Operate within HubSpot for event campaign setup, attribution, and reporting.
- Run structured post-event debriefs and feed learnings into future events.
- Prepare event overview decks and ROI summaries for leadership review.
- Own the events budget, tracking spend, managing vendor invoicing, and ensuring financial accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven success running B2B events, ideally within an enterprise software or technology organization.
- Excellent project management skills: organized, structured, and deadline-driven.
- Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and logical, capable of managing complex event workflows with precision under pressure.
- Comfortable navigating a matrix organization to secure necessary direction and support.
- Strong written and verbal communicator with business-level command of English.
- Skilled relationship builder with polish, tact, and a sense of humor.
- Team player capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Genuine curiosity about AI tools and their potential to reshape marketing operations.
