About the Role
Morgan Properties is looking for a Maintenance Service Technician at our 504-unit apartment community in Tonawanda, NY. This role involves troubleshooting and completing various repairs, maintaining property standards, and responding to resident needs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and complete service repairs including HVAC, general appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance needs
- Keep interior and exterior areas up to company standards, safety guidelines, and applicable laws
- Respond quickly to resident service requests and assigned work orders
- Keep residents and the office in the loop on repairs, updates, and follow-ups
- Stay ahead of issues through preventative maintenance that protects the community long term
- Deliver the kind of service that makes residents proud of where they live
Requirements
- Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- 2–3 years of maintenance experience preferred
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Sharp troubleshooting skills, the judgment to work independently, and the follow-through to finish what you start
