Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve the entire AssessFirst experience, from problem understanding to production.
  • Collaborate daily with the Lead Designer, Product Managers, Front-end Engineers, and ML Engineers to transform complex problems into simple, intuitive, and engaging experiences.
  • Contribute directly to product decisions, challenge solutions, rapidly prototype, and test ideas before large-scale implementation.
  • Imagine new interactions enabled by AI, including agents, copilots, conversational interfaces, voice AI, and dynamic or generative experiences.
  • Design features and experiences end-to-end, from discovery to production, in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
  • Design AI-native experiences integrating AI agents, copilots, conversational UI, and voice AI, in coordination with ML Engineers.
  • Maintain and evolve the AssessFirst design system, ensuring the quality of visual design and motion across all platforms.
  • Build interactive or functional prototypes and collaborate directly with Front-end Engineers through to production.
  • Conduct user research, tests, and usage analysis, and measure the effectiveness of experiences post-launch.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design for digital products that have been put into production.
  • Experience with products integrating AI agents, copilots, conversational UI, or voice AI.
  • Experience in creating or evolving design systems.
  • Solid product culture and ability to work from ill-defined problems.
  • Good understanding of web technologies and ease in collaborating with technical teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and FigJam, including components, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Regular use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to accelerate research, exploration, and design.
  • Appetite for tools like FigmaMake, Cursor, v0, Lovable, or Framer.
  • Professional English is essential.
