About the Role
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a Program Officer to support ongoing activities across Clinical Research. This role will provide administrative support, assist with onboarding, and contribute to special projects within clinical research divisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for core clinical research services, including invoicing, metric collection, and scheduling.
- Distribute information regarding educational workshops.
- Support the onboarding and orientation of new staff and trainees.
- Support special projects across clinical research divisions.
- Work on small projects, supporting the development and implementation of processes and clinical research services.
- Support training and orientation for research staff and scientists on new systems.
- Monitor and provide in-depth review of documentation.
- Assist with large-scaled projects.
- Support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Health Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or Neuroscience).
- Three (3) years of related professional experience.
- A minimum of one year of research operations experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects is required.
- Previous experience with the conduct of clinical research, from study start up to close out is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
