About the Role
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our London team. In this role, you will lead key aspects of the reporting and accounting process, ensuring our financial operations remain robust and scalable. The Europe Accounting team acts as the engine room for our financial integrity, bridging the gap between local operations and global reporting standards during an exciting period of integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring all financial reporting deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with US headquarters requirements.
- Oversee the review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy.
- Identify process gaps and implement scalable controls to strengthen financial governance and shorten close cycles across Europe.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Operations and regional teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve data quality.
- Coordinate internal and external audit requests while maintaining comprehensive documentation for key accounting processes and SOPs.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accountancy qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualified experience.
- Significant post-qualification experience within a complex, fast-paced financial environment, ideally with a focus on group reporting.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite (or equivalent ERP systems) and financial reporting tools.
- Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders across different regions and functions.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in an evolving global business environment.
