About the Role
Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks a Part Time Bartender in Shaughnessy's Pub to greet and serve guests according to standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar, including requisitioning and stocking of all beverages, paper products, condiments, and produce.
- Maintains stock, cuts, and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily.
- Greets guests courteously, promotes and documents drink orders, and mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard recipes.
- Abides by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Inputs orders into a point-of-sale register and creates checks for guests.
- Receives cash, makes change, verifies charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
- Locks up and stores beverage, food, and equipment items, deposits cash drops, and secures the bank.
- Complies with attendance rules and is available to work on a regular basis.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Maintains a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Communicates well with guests.
- Willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties.
- Is a team player.
- Understands and believes that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador.
