Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior support plans.
- Provide supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans.
- Work professionally with multiple service providers at multiple sites.
- Utilize sound judgment and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Travel between locations as required.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology with documented training in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development.
- National board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) or a NYS License as a Behavior Analyst (LBA).
- New York State license in mental health counseling (LMHC).
- Three years' experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Master's degree in Social Work and currently licensed as a New York State License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- One year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency with computers/computer systems, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic documentation systems.
- Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Well organized and self-directed with ability to work in a changing environment, be flexible and make decisions.
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, sound judgment, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively with employees and leadership.
- Valid NYS driver's license meeting organization requirements.
