About the Role
The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships, driving sales goals, and contributing to the evolution of IGP's Captive proposition.
Responsibilities
- Drive productivity for IGP’s Captive proposition by creating pipelines and closing new business deals.
- Own the continued evolution of IGP’s Captive proposition, enhancing its value, visibility, and market relevance.
- Create and maintain long-term working relationships with clients and advisors.
- Meet with clients, prospects, and advisors in-person to build and maintain a strong professional network.
- Meet sales and conservation goals set by management.
- Conduct workshops on products and services for the advisor community and the wider HR/Finance/Risk community.
- Collaborate with IGP Network Partners to drive new business and conserve existing business.
- Attend and speak at IGP and industry events.
- Participate in internal projects across different departments.
- Excel at Global RFPs and subsequent finalist presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in Marketing, Finance, Business, or Insurance.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and strategic client relationship management experience in Global Employee Benefits.
- Elaborate experience in the Captive market is a strong pre.
- Dynamic personality with good ability to interact with different people and levels.
- Systematic and structured approach to understanding systems and processes.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Proven professional network in the Employee Benefits industry.
- Ability to work both independently and in a wider team (cross-departmental).
- Knowledge of Pooling, Reinsurance to Captives, and Global Underwriting.
