About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and curious individual to join our Electroverse ecosystem, focusing on developing core business functionality. You will help develop discounting solutions, monitor financial patterns, and deliver value, contributing to commercial stability and competitive pricing. This role offers the chance to have a significant impact on big features and influence the scalability of our back-end systems within a high-energy project team, operating like a start-up within a rapidly scaling EnTech business.
Responsibilities
- Improve the core product by developing and enhancing pricing and discount mechanisms.
- Enhance the accuracy of financial reporting and payment success rates across payment providers.
- Expand existing charging subscription offerings to increase flexibility and scalability.
- Collaborate within a specialized team to enable cross-functional product areas and deliver high-quality customer solutions.
- Support the Operations team in resolving customer payment issues.
- Assist the Financial team in building accurate reporting systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software experience, preferably with Django or similar Python frameworks.
- Experience monitoring and debugging applications and infrastructure.
- Experience maintaining asynchronous processing systems (AMQP, Celery).
- Ability to discuss vision and features within a team and propose creative solutions.
- Knowledge of common security practices.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Ability to write robust and fault-tolerant software.
- Proficient understanding of Git.
