About the Role

A Lien Resolution Project Manager guides and manages mass tort dockets through lien operations from intake to completion, collaborating with internal and external parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ARCHER performs the full scope of services as defined by the Master Settlement Agreement and client law firms.
  • Identify and meet docket-level needs, both internal and external.
  • Identify operational roadblocks and work with other departments to clear them.
  • Understand key deliverables and scope, ensuring compliance with protocols and creating new ones when necessary.
  • Ensure health claim audit protocols are developed and implemented.
  • Assist in drafting external communications by providing lien-related content.
  • Ensure lien-level reporting is established and delivered to clients on schedule.
  • Maintain database and tools with up-to-date and accurate lien resolution information.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide instruction for database input, understanding data's effect on the lien resolution process.
  • Establish streamlined ways to process information on dockets.
  • Monitor key docket milestones.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prepare them for milestone actions.
  • Ensure other departments fulfill responsibilities timely when milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable or Project Director for timely invoicing when invoicing milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with Lien Payments team to establish docket-specific lien payment requirements and timing.
  • Track and report on key docket metrics.
  • Work with multiple internal teams as an engaged team member in a fast-paced environment with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Know and identify the status of all assigned dockets.
  • Proactively anticipate and identify service issues and work with internal managers/team leads to rectify them.
  • Ensure docket accuracy, timeliness, and service excellence from beginning to end.
  • Establish and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

  • Degree from a 4-year college or university or related experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, including ability to glean conclusions from datasets and effectively communicate findings.
  • Essential Excel skills include pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, developing charts, and logical If formulas.
  • Comfortable in an extremely fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a cross-functional, multiple geographic location setting.
  • Decisiveness and sense of urgency; ability to see and act quickly on priority issues.
  • Clear, confident communicator.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of personal accountability.
  • Critical thinking skills, including asking thoughtful questions, solving complex problems, and thinking analytically.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle various projects simultaneously.
  • 2+ years of experience in Legal Project Management.
  • 2+ years of experience in lien resolution, insurance adjusting, personal injury or mass tort law, or related field.
