About the Role
Perkins&Will Atlanta Studio is seeking a talented Landscape Designer I with strong design thinking and technical excellence to shape innovative site solutions and contribute to projects with meaningful, lasting impacts. Join a dynamic team working on diverse project scales, from campus environments to complex urban developments, while growing your design expertise.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to team success by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in landscape design, execution, and living design.
- Prepare contract documents including hardscape and landscape plans, details, sections, elevations, and schedules.
- Conceptualize across a broad range of scales and project types, from university campuses to dense urban environments at a planning through detailed site design level.
- Exhibit strong conceptual thinking with the ability to communicate ideas graphically and verbally.
- Display a strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills to support a growing landscape architecture practice.
- Use a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organized, timely, and consistent way.
- Take increasing ownership of tasks within project teams and studio activities.
- Participate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
- Maintain open communication within the team and with the designated team leader.
- Communicate ideas and thoughts in a way that inspires others.
- Coordinate effectively with partners and consultants.
Requirements
- Portfolio required with resume (link or PDF).

Skills
- BIM (preferred but not required)
- Enhanced knowledge in site analysis
- Preliminary design studies
- Graphic presentations
- Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D production software
- Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite including presentation tools such as PPT, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Visualization tools such as Enscape, Lumion, and D5
