About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to manage accounts in arrears, drive positive collections outcomes, and support late-stage recoveries, including insolvencies and formal recovery actions with our partners.
Responsibilities
- Support collections customers via phone and email.
- Collaborate with partners on late-stage recoveries and collections.
- Assess customer and business situations to agree on sustainable solutions.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and adapt to change.
- Manage varied workloads and solve problems creatively.
- Maintain accurate records according to company and regulatory standards.
- Share customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Meet quality and compliance standards while providing excellent service.
- Work with the team to achieve goals and provide mutual support.
- Stay updated on products, services, and operational changes.
- Work towards individual and team KPIs and SLAs.
Requirements
- Experience in collections, preferably in business-to-business environments.
- Understanding of financial services regulations for business collections, covering early and late-stage recovery.
- Familiarity with call centre technologies such as diallers and customer portals.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving and improvement.
