About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be the driving force behind our new product innovations, from concept to launch. You will develop concepts that are both scientifically sound and appealing to consumers, managing the entire product journey from briefing to market introduction. You understand the importance of every detail, including ingredient composition, packaging, and product feel.
Responsibilities
- Drive innovation by planning, developing, and overseeing new product ideas, from hero products to smart relaunches.
- Identify and translate trends by analyzing the market, consumer behavior, and competition to derive relevant impulses for new products and optimizations.
- Actively shape the portfolio by strategically developing our assortment, maintaining the existing portfolio, and supporting alignment with our brand vision.
- Foster teamwork by collaborating closely with Marketing, R&D, Graphics, and Operations teams from briefing to product launch.
- Manage projects and processes by controlling timings, tests, and samples, supporting the coordination of contract manufacturers, and ensuring timely and perfect product launches.
- Handle packaging and storytelling by supporting the design process, coordinating with the graphics team, and creating compelling product presentations and training materials.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business, Cosmetics, Chemistry, Marketing, or similar.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in product management, ideally in the FMCG or beauty sector.
- Experience with the complete product development process, including timings, testing, and launch.
- Proficient project management and interface communication skills (e.g., with purchasing, marketing, contract manufacturers).
- Empathy, brand understanding, and consumer perspective.
- Good German and English language skills (negotiation level, C1).
