About the Role
Audible's content teams utilize a large Airtable ecosystem for content acquisition, production, and programming. This role focuses on modernizing and rebuilding this ecosystem by simplifying data flow, redesigning user tools, and ensuring platform maintainability. The specialist will work at the intersection of business and technology, collaborating with content operations and program leads to design, build, and support Airtable systems critical to Acquisition, Production, and Programming teams. This is a hands-on role involving architecting data structures, designing interfaces, rationalizing automations, and supporting migrations within a live, multi-region environment.
Responsibilities
- Redesign and simplify data synchronization between core content bases to reduce complexity and improve reliability.
- Build and refine team-facing interfaces tailored to specific content team workflows.
- Rationalize and maintain automations, scripts, and workflows across the ecosystem.
- Support data migrations and structural changes with minimal disruption to live operations.
- Partner with internal content, operations, and engineering teams to gather requirements, question assumptions, and identify risks.
- Create clear documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer for system maintainability.
- Utilize data to drive decisions and measure results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
- Experience designing, building, maintaining, and supporting Airtable-based solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with agile and lean product management methodology and best practices.
- Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication.
- Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and analytical thinking.
