About the Role
The Mariner Group consists of multiple imprints—Mariner, Amistad, HarperVia, and HarperCollins Español—each with its own carefully crafted focus and identity. This internship offers an opportunity to learn about the book production process and provide additional assistance as needed.
Responsibilities
- Drafts fact sheets, jacket copy, and reading group guides.
- Reads and evaluates manuscript submissions and drafts rejection letters.
- Attends various team and department meetings as interested.
- Provides additional assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Available to work in a full-time capacity in 2027 or 2028.
- Available to work 21 hours per week across 3 or 4 days, from February 8 to April 16, 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
