About the Role

Moorhouse is seeking individuals to join their team, focusing on delivering sustainable change and helping clients achieve long-term goals by translating strategy into action through exceptional delivery and fostering a culture of change. The AD3 Service Line, covering Advisory, Product, and Transformation, integrates expertise in Digital, Data, AI, and Delivery to guide technology leaders through strategic roadmaps and large-scale technology-enabled change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions, including LLM-based agents, automation, and decision-support tools.
  • Ensure solutions can be operated safely and effectively in enterprise environments.
  • Contribute to sales and business development.
  • Lead consultant/client delivery teams on key engagements and accounts.
  • Motivate, support, and develop junior members of the Moorhouse team.
  • Play an active role in supporting the career development of a small group of colleagues.
  • Design and build AI solutions using LLMs, agent frameworks, and related tooling, from prototype to production.
  • Integrate AI components with client and Moorhouse systems via APIs, event streams, and workflow tools.
  • Implement robust engineering practices including version control, testing, observability, and performance tuning.
  • Work with architects and data engineers to define scalable, secure, and cost-effective solution designs.
  • Collaborate with AI Delivery Leads to estimate, plan, and deliver work across discovery, pilot, and scale phases.
  • Implement evaluation frameworks for AI performance (accuracy, safety, latency, cost) in partnership with the Evaluation & Assurance Analyst.
  • Provide technical leadership and support and coaching to AI Engineers and broader consulting teams.
  • Contribute to Moorhouse intellectual property (IP): reusable components, accelerators, templates, and knowledge assets.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of consulting experience (big consulting firm, boutique consultancy, or AI product development/delivery in industry).
  • Strong hands-on experience building AI/ML systems in production (ideally including LLMs and/or agents).
  • Proficiency in Python (or similar) and common AI tooling (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, cloud AI services).
  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems (REST APIs, microservices, identity/permissions).
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, code quality, observability).
  • Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience building effective relationships with senior client stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • A passion for building and nurturing strong relationships with colleagues.
  • A keen interest in playing a senior role within the Service Line team, supporting the development of compelling propositions and integrating with Sector teams.
  • Experience across multiple sectors is valuable, but deeper expertise in a particular sector is also welcomed.

Salary/Compensations

  • Up to £110,000 total cash package (base salary £82,005 plus bonuses)
