About the Role
The Senior Functional Consultant – SAP Classic is responsible for configuring, implementing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting SAP ERP and CRM functional modules in alignment with business requirements and SAP standard practices. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand processes, translate requirements into SAP solutions, configure functional modules, support testing and issue resolution, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. The consultant will contribute to regular projects and continuous improvement initiatives, applying broad technical and functional knowledge across relevant SAP technologies and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP functional solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP modules while maintaining compatibility with SAP standard functionality and vendor guidelines.
- Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, maintenance, upgrade, and support activities.
- Work closely with business users and client representatives to understand processes, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate SAP solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, process flows, guidelines, and other project documentation.
- Perform system configuration and testing.
