About the Role

Manage relationships and business operations with assigned accounts globally, working to maximize opportunities for artists, increase market share, and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the account lead in the US and globally for assigned accounts.
  • Implement commercial deals and improve opportunities to grow the customer base and income.
  • Support senior management across ad hoc projects.
  • Understand and ensure accurate adherence to all points of WMG’s commercial agreement with each assigned account through active communication.
  • Coordinate and develop strategies with key partners across WMG to improve platform and in-service opportunities.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of partner’s goals and business strategies and communicate information to leadership, labels, business development, and analysis teams.
  • Regularly update assigned accounts on new releases and catalog changes.
  • Help WMG and Partner operational teams ensure WMG repertoire is available on the platform.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Growth Initiatives, and Tech teams to ensure reporting is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate with Business Development by using daily account knowledge to advise on the partner's current state and provide forward-thinking topics for negotiations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience with a range of Commercial Music, Marketing/Sales, and Account Management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with various levels of stakeholders.
  • Experienced with and/or interested in new, emerging categories of music consumption as well as user generated/ad supported platforms.
  • Ability to be creative, goal-oriented, and a flexible team player.
  • Passionate about music and understand the current music landscape.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google’s suite of tools.
  • Problem solver with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Experience diving into data and using it with purpose.
