About the Role

This Senior Product Designer role focuses on designing the acquisition surfaces where individuals decide to begin their health journey. The goal is to make this crucial moment clear, credible, and human, with measurable impact on the number of people who start treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Design every page as an argument, ensuring every element serves a purpose.
  • Own acquisition surfaces end-to-end, including landing pages, conversion components, and templates.
  • Own conversion-bearing elements such as BMI calculators and clinical quiz/consult forms.
  • Translate clinical language into patient-friendly, accurate, and compliant terms.
  • Design dense information clearly, using data visualization and strong hierarchy.
  • Utilize interaction design for progressive disclosure and interactive data.
  • Use motion and pacing intentionally to guide users through the process.
  • Ensure a consistent brand story from advertisements through to conversion touchpoints.
  • Partner with CRO managers on the optimization loop, shaping tests and implementing findings.
  • Focus on increasing the number of people who start treatment.
  • Build trust with specific evidence and proof points in a regulated market.
  • Work end-to-end, from problem definition and research to information architecture and UX writing.
  • Design A/B tests, size them, and analyze results honestly.
  • Conduct own research and usability testing to inform experiments.
  • Write persuasive and guiding copy for a regulated market.
  • Compose from the design system and own signature components and templates.

Requirements

  • Experience in designing conversion-focused acquisition surfaces.
  • Track record of A/B testing on acquisition surfaces.
  • Ability to make dense, complex medical information simple and clear without oversimplification.
  • Empathy and emotional intelligence to connect with users at a vulnerable moment.
  • Curiosity about health and a drive to understand conditions.
  • Sharp acquisition craft and discipline to test.
  • Ability to balance human needs with commercial goals.
  • Ability to shape the problem, not just the pixels, using data and research.
  • Ability to reason in conversion rate, cost per acquisition, and funnel drop-off.
  • Ability to defend design decisions using metrics.
  • Clear, specific, and opinionated communication style.
  • Willingness to share work early and often, and use critique to improve.
  • Use of LLMs in workflow for variant testing and the build-measure-learn loop.
  • Prototyping in tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
  • Experience with systems thinking, designing in modules, and composing from a design system.
  • Ability to extend the design system rather than reinvent it.
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
  • Portfolio showcasing complex information made clear, with evidence of empathy, craft, and measurable outcomes.
