About the Role
JUNI is building the leading startup ecosystem for science-based spin-offs in Berlin and Brandenburg. We connect universities, startups, companies, investors, and politics, creating spaces, programs, and partnerships that translate research into successful companies. We are looking for a Key Account & Partnerships Manager with entrepreneurial spirit, high independence, and execution strength to expand our network of business partners, from initial contact to long-term collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing business partners and their relationships.
- Oversee and further develop existing collaborations.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Proactively plan and execute joint activities with partners.
- Prepare and follow up on offers and proposals.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners.
- Identify opportunities for further development and upselling.
- Actively identify and approach potential new business partners.
- Independently manage the acquisition process from initial contact to contract conclusion.
- Co-develop standardized cooperation and partnership products with the team.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or Partnership Management (B2B).
- Experience in building and expanding new business relationships, as well as managing existing clients/partners.
- Proactive approach to engaging potential new partners and building a strong network.
- Relationship-oriented approach focused on long-term cooperation.
- Experience working with demanding business partners.
- Ability to structure and implement complex collaborations.
- Proven track record of achieving acquisition, project, or sales targets.
- Experience in Business Development or developing/refining products or standardized cooperation formats.
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- High degree of independence and reliability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Interest in innovation, startups, and the scientific environment.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
