About the Role

You will work at the Berlin location in the "Documentaries & Stories" department, primarily supporting documentaries and journalistic social media formats.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production and recording management with administrative and organizational tasks.
  • Maintain and update production plans, shooting schedules, and calculations as directed.
  • Organize logistics, including booking travel, accommodation, and equipment.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of shoots (e.g., organizing catering, ensuring prop availability, creating schedules and shooting reports, acting as Set Runner during shoots).
  • Manage and provide documents and contracts.
  • Communicate and coordinate with external partners and trades as instructed.
  • Take minutes during meetings and document production processes.
  • Support production settlement (invoices and receipts, creating third-party material lists, creating ePPs).
  • Assist with rights clearance (e.g., for archive material).

Requirements

  • Experience in production and on film sets, with knowledge of documentary or social media production workflows.
  • Initial experience in licensing archive material and rights clearance.
  • Proficiency in macOS and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Structured, conscientious work style with the ability to maintain an overview during stressful production phases.
  • Organizational talent and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • A sense for deadlines and priorities.
  • High service orientation and a hands-on mentality.
  • Valid Class B driver's license.
