About the Role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) supports customers' innovation across all technologies, acting as a trusted advisor to help them gain maximum value from AWS services and achieve their business goals. This role offers opportunities for professional development in technical, consulting, operational, and leadership skills within the rapidly expanding EMEA and German markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs, and reviewing service disruptions, monthly/quarterly metrics, and pre-launch planning.
- Investigate complex support cases and technical challenges using technical skills.
- Understand operational parameters and troubleshoot multiple technical domains for customer issues and escalations.
- Advocate for customer needs to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development.
- Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops, operations, and architecture reviews.
- Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing costs and driving efficiencies to mitigate risks in customer operations plans and product adoption.
- Work with customers across all levels, from developers to C-Suite executives.
- Collaborate across multiple functions within AWS, including Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
Requirements
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
- Experience in technical engineering.
- Bachelor's degree.
