About the Role
The Therapeutic Youth Living (TJW) team in the Barnim district supports young people in transitional housing on their path to school, career, and independent living.
Responsibilities
- Support adolescents and young adults based on your own experiences, enriching them with your qualities and competencies, with connection to an established, agile team.
- Collaborate with psychotherapists to create and utilize creative professional approaches.
- Guide young people in independent living towards school, social, and cultural participation, overcoming new challenges with humor.
- Demonstrate enjoyment in finding individual solutions and implementing sustainable interventions.
Requirements
- Degree as a social worker, social pedagogue, or educator (m/f/d).
- Experience in child and youth welfare is desirable.
- Assertiveness and a drive for shaping things, combined with openness to others and the ability for professional self-reflection.
- Ability to listen to young people and colleagues and ask open-ended questions.
- Experience as a stable, interested, and curious individual with the capacity to provide strength.
