About the Role
Join OPmobility Japan Sales Team to contribute to C-Power business development with key automotive customers. Manage customer relationships, coordinate pricing, monitor business performance, and ensure financial follow-up to support commercial growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop teamwork in a collaborative mode and work in synergy with project team members.
- Monitor customer scorecards and customer portals.
- Support Sales Managers with RFI and RFQ processes for assigned OEM accounts.
- Act as the voice of the customer within OPmobility.
- Coordinate cash-in and account receivables for customer invoices.
- Prepare and submit quotations to customers on time.
- Support Sales Managers regarding contractual documents for customer projects.
- Validate offer content with Sales Managers and, if necessary, with the legal department.
- Review contractual and warranty obligations with customers, suppliers, and third parties with the corporate legal function.
- Circulate customer information to project team members and production plants.
- Lead customer price negotiations and revisions during development and production phases.
- Align with Sales Managers for strategic negotiations.
- Monitor price revisions, consistent invoicing, and payments in alignment with Sales Managers.
- Propose and negotiate productivity plans with customers in alignment with Sales Managers.
- Negotiate customer contributions to tooling and development costs (cash) in alignment with Sales Managers.
- Contribute to maintaining or improving project overall profitability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of material margin and optimize cash.
- Relay innovative concepts applicable to projects and customers.
- Record sales project history files and share experiences within OPmobility.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-8 years of sales experience in automotive (Tier 1) or high volume manufacturing.
- Experience with the assigned OEM preferred.
Skills
- Experienced negotiator
- Financial literacy
- Good knowledge of automotive industry
- Fluency in Japanese and English (Business level)
