About the Role
We are seeking a Mass Participation Fundraising Officer to maximize income from mass fundraising activities, including sporting, challenge, and virtual events, while providing excellent stewardship and care to our generous supporters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver mass fundraising events, with end-to-end coordination of various in-person and virtual events, ensuring supporters are at the heart of all activity.
- Effectively market events to audiences, ensuring opportunities to fundraise reach the right audiences and sign-up targets are met.
- Monitor KPIs for mass fundraising activity, ensuring return on investment and gathering insights to drive improvements.
- Innovate and develop new, creative ways to increase income from events.
- Support on event days, ensuring a fulfilling and memorable supporter experience, while managing volunteers and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in developing, planning, and delivering excellent supporter journeys.
- Experience providing an inclusive, engaging supporter experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Some experience in monitoring performance and expenditure.
- Ability to problem-solve and innovate to drive improvements and generate new ideas.
- Experience in sporting events is preferred.
- A passion for the work we do is essential.
