About the Role
Trust and Safety team members identify and address significant challenges to product safety and integrity. They leverage technical expertise, problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to safeguard users and partners from abuse across Google products. This role involves big-picture thinking, strategic teamwork, and a commitment to doing what's right, working globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to combat abuse and fraud with urgency.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders to improve abuse detection systems and mitigate user harm.
- Drive alignment and strengthen partnerships with executive stakeholders across T&S and other cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Legal.
- Apply core process knowledge to enhance workflows and operational workstreams.
- Develop deep policy knowledge and product expertise to implement, execute, and iteratively improve enforcement operations.
- Articulate complex policy concepts and deliver persuasive communications for executive audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or a related field.
