About the Role

Supporting Management Surveyors in delivering the divisional strategy with a focus on the RISE methodology to ensure a high-quality technical property management service. The role involves implementing operational strategy, objectives, and business plans at a site level, maintaining connectivity with Savills Property Management, and ensuring cost control, statutory compliance, governance, and customer service policies are in place.

Responsibilities

  • Spend time on sites to understand requirements and interface with the Head of Engineering Services and the wider business.
  • Support the London Business Space team and Head of Engineering Services in developing and implementing best practices.
  • Collaborate with all business elements to consistently evolve the operational model.
  • Champion the effective use of CAFM systems across the business, ensuring systems are populated and maintained correctly.
  • Assist the UK Engineering team in maximizing financial performance by reviewing cost recoverability and income generation.
  • Ensure effective technical H&S and environmental compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to bring service lines in-house through Savills Engineering and Design Consultancy, Savills Earth, Savills Workforce+, and the FM Service fee.
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of technical site teams.
  • Provide ad hoc support, leadership, and guidance to managed sites, including interim on-site management when required.
  • Evaluate existing contractual relationships to ensure partner service aligns with agreed specifications.
  • Produce and coordinate information in line with Savills and client requirements.
  • Work with the wider UK Engineering team on submissions for external Industry awards.
  • Assist the Property Transitions team and onsite M&E management teams on new building mobilizations.
  • Collaborate with the Savills Tech Working Group on innovations in property management.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with flexibility.
  • Ability to take on delegated authority and act independently.
  • Ability to handle a large number of projects with diverse customers, suppliers, and property owners.
  • Experience and knowledge of achieving high standards in property management on multi-let sites.
  • Knowledge and understanding of setting and managing service charge budgets.
  • Understanding of operational property management, building infrastructure, operational engineering, and relevant statutory legislation.
  • Strong overall experience in a similar position or operational role.
  • A recognized technical qualification by examination is required.
