About the Role
As a core member of the Executive Remuneration team, you will work with a diverse range of clients and industries, taking on roles as project manager to help diagnose client issues and develop executive remuneration solutions for Remuneration Committees and management. You will collaborate with our Reward team, which supports broader workforce reward strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage project deliverables to prepare for Remuneration Committee or Executive Committee meetings.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and build trusted advisor relationships.
- Draft and review reports and analysis.
- Support the design of solutions, including incentive plans, remuneration policy reviews, and strategies in the context of IPOs or M&A activity.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality work while managing project budgets.
- Attend and present at client meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to market development and thought leadership pieces, reinforcing Mercer’s position as a global HR consulting leader.
- Contribute to project proposals and marketing initiatives to attract new business.
- Maintain broad knowledge of Marsh’s offerings, connecting clients with relevant services and internal teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in executive remuneration / executive compensation (consulting preferred).
- Professional qualifications and experience from accounting, legal, tax or actuarial backgrounds are also relevant.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven analytical and technical skills, especially in Excel.
- Excellent written and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret data, tell compelling stories, and solve complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage clients effectively and influence stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational and project management abilities.
