About the Role
Unique opportunity to join a top-tier Corporate Development team in London at a $7bn NYSE listed iGaming company. This is a high-impact, high-agency role offering direct exposure to M&A, strategic and venture investments, and corporate strategy globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of M&A transactions across the full deal lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and closing
- Lead strategic and venture investments, from origination through execution and portfolio management
- Lead broader strategic projects across the Group, including new market entries and internal due diligence / strategic reviews
- Conduct sector, market, and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities
- Build and analyse financial models, including operating models, DCFs, returns analysis, and customer cohort and unit economics analysis
- Drive due diligence workstreams across financial, legal, commercial, technology, and regulatory areas
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors
- Maintain relationships with banks, advisors, potential targets, and industry participants, and attend industry events and conferences
Requirements
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas
- A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goals
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work
- Adaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast‑moving environments
- 2+ years of experience from investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy consulting
- Strong track record of executing M&A transactions and investments
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
- Proven ability to lead due diligence workstreams
- Comfortable working independently with minimal guidance, while exercising good judgment on when to seek support
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and an independent mindset, with the ability to challenge assumptions
- Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills
- High agency, adaptability, and proactivity, with a positive, can-do attitude
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
- Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
- Fluency in English
- Additional European or African languages are advantageous
- Experience in the technology, sports betting, gaming, or entertainment sectors is advantageous
