About the Role
The Empira Group is seeking a professional to lead complex renovation and refurbishment projects, focusing on the sustainable and energetic realignment of assets. This role involves close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, including asset management, property management, investment management, authorities, tenants, and service providers.
Responsibilities
- Lead demanding renovation and refurbishment projects across all service phases.
- Coordinate external specialist planners, architects, consultants, and construction companies with a focus on sustainable and energetic realignment of assets.
- Create and monitor project, schedule, and cost plans.
- Conduct tenders, awards, and contract negotiations.
- Perform technical due diligence for acquired and existing properties.
- Develop economically viable repositioning and refurbishment strategies.
- Coordinate closely with Asset Management, Property Management, and Investment Management.
- Liaise with authorities, tenants, and service providers, and report to management and investors.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Services Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in managing complex renovation and large-scale refurbishment projects.
- Sound knowledge of construction contract law (VOB), HOAI, and relevant technical standards.
- Experience in cost and project controlling.
- Negotiation skills and strong communication abilities.
- High degree of personal responsibility, decisiveness, and entrepreneurial thinking.
