About the Role

Support the Academy Performance team on a part-time consulting basis to enhance and deliver a high-quality, age-appropriate nutrition service for U9-U14 Academy players. Strengthen the existing nutrition framework to support player health, development, and performance, contributing to the Academy’s mission.

Responsibilities

Deliver theoretical and practical nutrition education sessions in line with the existing curriculum.
Enhance nutrition education for players, parents & guardians, coaches, and key stakeholders.
Lead nutrition monitoring including food diary analysis and feedback.
Influence nutrition behaviours by being present at key meal and snack times.
Manage player and parent/guardian nutrition clinics for both injured and fit players.
Contribute to menu planning and the improvement of food provision at Hale End.
Liaise with Chefs and Kitchen team to ensure appropriate nutrition timing and quality.
Contribute to the improvement of the Hale End restaurant environment.
Regularly communicate with schools to educate and improve nutrition provision.
Assist in organising and arranging food provision for matchdays, tours, and tournaments.
Attend and contribute to departmental meetings.
Undertake any other activities as required by the Lead Academy Nutritionist and Head of Academy Performance.

Requirements

Background in elite sport with previous nutritional expertise applied in a professional sport setting.
Excellent communication skills to build impactful relationships and communicate ideas clearly.
Organised and adaptable approach to manage and organise workload with competing priorities.
Professional mindset to act as an ambassador for the club and role model values.
Ability to operate with discretion and confidentiality.
Uphold high standards of conduct to prevent abuse, including sexual, physical, or emotional harm.
Keep updated with both Club and FA Safeguarding training and education.
