About the Role

This position is based in London within our Marketing & Technology service. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to solve business problems and drive revenue through digital marketing solutions. We are seeking an Influencer Lead to define and grow the influencer discipline, develop campaigns, support the junior team, and ensure creative excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Help define "best-in-class" influencer work at DEPT®, including briefing processes, creative formats, and talent approach.
  • Drive the creative development of influencer-first ideas, incorporating cultural awareness and platform knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, and Client Services teams to integrate influencer thinking.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the influencer product across process, partnerships, and tools.
  • Oversee campaign planning and delivery, ensuring high standards in creativity and execution.
  • Guide influencer approaches that align with brand, comms, and cultural objectives.
  • Match talent to campaign goals and creative direction using audience insights and platform trends.
  • Shape key messaging, creative narratives, and content formats native to creator styles while meeting client KPIs.
  • Mentor and manage junior and mid-level team members, providing guidance and growth opportunities.
  • Lead team sessions and reviews to share learnings and improve output quality.
  • Contribute to onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Advocate for the influencer discipline internally, educating other departments on its application.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, with both creative and executional roles.
  • Deep understanding of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging formats.
  • Experience working with global and culturally diverse talent, from niche creators to celebrities.
  • Strong creative instincts and an eye for effective influencer content.
  • Confident collaborator and communicator, able to work across teams and functions.
  • Natural mentor and people-first leader who enjoys coaching and supporting others.
  • Hands-on experience managing and delivering influencer campaigns at scale.
