About the Role

We are seeking a T-shaped engineer proficient in both web and mobile platforms within an AI-augmented software development lifecycle. You will build and deploy production-grade applications using React and React Native, integrating AI tools to enhance design, development, testing, and deployment. Experience in the telco industry is a significant advantage due to its scale and regulatory complexities.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
Apply AI-enabled SDLC practices across the full development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, testing, code review, and deployment.
Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Own features end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
Champion best practices for code quality, performance, accessibility, and security across platforms.
Evaluate and integrate AI tools and agents to improve engineering velocity and quality.
Mentor junior engineers on technical delivery and AI-assisted workflows.
Participate in architectural decisions balancing web/mobile code reuse, performance, and maintainability.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements, including AI-driven build/test optimization.

Requirements

T-shaped skill profile with deep expertise in one area (web or mobile) and proficiency across the full stack.
Strong hands-on experience with React (web) and React Native (mobile/cross-platform).
Solid understanding of mobile app development fundamentals, including build processes, app store deployment, and native module integration.
Practical understanding of all phases of an AI-enabled SDLC and where AI tools add value.
Experience using AI coding assistants/copilots in a professional development workflow.
Strong grasp of state management, API integration (REST/GraphQL), and performance optimization on both web and mobile.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
Good understanding of software architecture patterns and scalable system design.
Telco industry experience is preferred.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to critically and pragmatically evaluate emerging AI tools.
Clear communicator, comfortable explaining technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-driven with a continuous-learning mindset, especially around AI tooling.
