About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Licensing Manager with expertise in the Online Licensing market to join our Commercial Team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive licensing opportunities in new business areas including video, gaming, generative AI, social services, and audio services.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to conduct valuations of market segments and new opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and support senior management in analyzing commercial proposals.
  • Deliver licensing solutions to maximize revenues for each account and ensure effective licensing across all services and territories.
  • Work closely with business development and operational teams to ensure strategic partnerships and first-party products deliver best-in-class services to rightsholders.
  • Prepare and present license proposals to the ICE management team and licensing committees.
  • Keep rightsholder licensing customers informed of high-value license performance and market developments.
  • Orchestrate and deliver cross-team and cross-departmental training on new business segments.
  • Build close working relationships with accounts.
  • Take full responsibility for resolving issues, identifying necessary changes, and engaging with relevant business partners (processing operations, legal, and finance).
  • Carry out complex and high-value license fee adjustments for accounts.
  • Lead, inspire, and support other members of the licensing team, encouraging personal development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Graduate level education or relevant work experience.
  • Background in a commercial negotiation/account management role.
  • Excellent knowledge of the online licensing market.
  • Experience in driving forwards new areas of business.
  • Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Experience of negotiating complex contractual issues.
  • Curiosity for and an interest in new media industries (online, gaming, AI).
  • Experience and knowledge of the operational and/or licensing processes for video/social /UGC platforms (e.g., YouTube) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of all Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to think and develop practical, innovative, and creative solutions to complex issues.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively while being flexible and reactive to business needs.
  • Delivers high standards, collaborative working, and integrated solutions.
  • Builds positive relationships with partners and stakeholders, with strong networking skills.
