About the Role
The objective is to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for machinery and equipment, ensuring that all machines operate efficiently and safely. This includes conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues promptly to maintain optimal performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement Engineering SOPs and guidelines, ensuring a robust maintenance process.
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day engineering tasks, projects, and initiatives.
- Provide solutions to recurring engineering problems in guest floors, kitchens, laundry, banquets, restaurants, and other areas.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of engineering technicians.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of guest rooms, electrical, mechanical, kitchen & laundry equipment, plumbing, air-conditioning, refrigeration equipment, audio-visual lighting, and other equipment.
- Ensure SOPs and safety guidelines are followed during work execution.
- Coordinate with vendors for BOQs, site visits, comparatives, and order issuance.
- Implement cost-effective solutions for perennial issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to address engineering issues.
- Assist in maintaining audit and maintenance records.
- Assist in the implementation of FPL and R&M cost mitigation measures.
- Plan and execute critical shutdowns for engineering services.
- Monitor and review log books of critical engineering equipment.
- Ensure adherence to relevant engineering statutory compliances.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of relevant experience in Hospitality Industry.
- 2+ Years of experience as Team Leader / Shift Incharge.
