About the Role

The GEA Heating & Refrigeration division focuses on sustainability and utilizes natural refrigerants. Their extensive product portfolio, built on decades of innovation, includes compressors, cooling systems, heat pumps, and controls, trusted by industry experts worldwide for high-quality, reliable, and efficient equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and manage production and manufacturing plans, considering capacities, material availability, and delivery dates.
• Monitor manufacturing progress, analyze schedule deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and manage capacity and material bottlenecks to ensure high on-time delivery rates.
• Create, maintain, and manage manufacturing orders, bills of materials, work plans, and master data in the ERP system.
• Coordinate technical and organizational requirements with design, purchasing, production, assembly, and logistics departments.
• Ensure transparent and efficient information flow along the entire value chain between the Berlin and Schkopau sites.
• Coordinate material supply and collaborate closely with internal departments and suppliers to support smooth production processes.
• Create analyses, KPIs, and reports, and contribute to the continuous optimization of production and planning processes.

Requirements

• Successfully completed technical vocational training with further education as a master craftsman or technician (e.g., Industrial Master Metall, Technician Mechanical Engineering or Production Technology).
• Alternatively, completed studies in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Business Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Professional experience in production planning, manufacturing control, work preparation, production logistics, or supply chain coordination.
• Ideally, experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or steel construction.
• Sound knowledge of production planning and manufacturing control, with an understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and experience in maintaining bills of materials, work plans, and production-relevant master data.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach with a high degree of personal responsibility and organizational skills.
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to undertake regular business trips to the Schkopau site.
