About the Role

As a Team Member, you will be key to making customers feel welcome and creating the atmosphere needed to deliver a great gaming experience. MERKUR Slots is passionate about its customers and providing them with the best service.

Responsibilities

Ensure venue housekeeping is always of the highest possible standard, regularly cleaning gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
Monitor customer actions and behaviour, noting any suspicious or disruptive behaviour.
Assist with administration to 100% accuracy.
Help ensure promotions run smoothly and are a success.
Ensure customer service is carried out in line with company standards, resulting in customer satisfaction.
Own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate and in accordance with the complaints policy.
Interact with customers through your shift and intervene as appropriate, logging all interactions.
Maintain a high standard of personal presentation, adhering to the brand dress code.
Achieve, maintain, and impart great product knowledge to customers.
Gain a good understanding of all company policies and procedures around safeguarding and challenge 25.
Actively discourage harassment, victimisation, or discrimination against employees, management, or customers.

Requirements

Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.
Passion for providing first-class service.
Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
Experience working in a retail, hospitality, or gambling environment.
Experienced in delivering excellent customer service.
