About the Role
This role is responsible for the development and implementation of events and webcasts across EMEA and Latin America, ensuring activities align with business objectives, priority products, and market trends. The position involves managing and executing physical, hybrid, and virtual events from concept to completion, working closely with marketing and sales teams, and ensuring all activities are within regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement events and webcasts across EMEA and Latin America, ensuring alignment with business objectives, priority products, and market trends.
- Manage and execute physical, hybrid, and virtual events and webcasts from concept through completion, including post-event reporting and evaluation.
- Collaborate with channel marketing managers and regional sales teams to implement the events strategy based on allocated budget.
- Support event processes meticulously for accurate delivery and reporting, suggesting improvements for efficiency.
- Identify key success metrics and monitor event and webcast success against them.
- Maintain a calendar of all events and webcasts aligning sales objectives with planned events.
- Develop dedicated events microsites, email communications, advertising, and bespoke styling in line with brand guidelines.
- Manage the commission and supply of promotional giveaways to support events activity.
- Liaise with compliance to ensure events are executed within regulatory guidelines and assets are complied accurately and timely.
- Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as required.
- Use industry experience to find creative ways to engage the audience, share knowledge, and enhance client experience.
- Contribute to quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc reports and presentations for the board, distribution management, and sales.
- Ensure the client experience is seamless, engaging, and informative.
- Ensure familiarity with Janus Henderson’s product offering, financial promotions/literature principles and processes, and compliance guidance.
- Adhere to appropriate checks and sign-off procedures.
- Travel across UK, Europe, and North America as required.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of financial services marketing and events.
- Significant experience in events management, including developing, implementing, and managing events and related activities.
- Sound influencing skills, measured, diplomatic, and assertive.
- Highly detail-oriented individual.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Experience using virtual event platforms and video conferencing software.
- Computer literate, with good skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Experience using Pardot / Salesforce (nice to have).
- Second language (preferably Italian, Spanish, German or French) (nice to have).
- Willingness to adhere to the provisions of the Investment Advisory Code of Ethics related to personal securities activities and other disclosure and certification requirements.
- Understanding of the regulatory obligations of the firm and adherence to regulated entity requirements and JHI policies.
