About the Role
Canterbury Woods is seeking an experienced and motivated Receptionist to join our team in Williamsville, NY. We are a continuing care retirement community committed to providing older adults with the best possible living experience.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephone, determine nature of call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department.
- Receive requests from within the facility and locate personnel through paging system.
- Receive inquiries and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Greet residents, staff, visitors and guests warmly and direct them to the appropriate office and/or resident apartment.
- Monitor visitor presence and location within the community and ensure adherence to Canterbury Woods rules of conduct.
- Report suspicious persons/information to supervisor immediately.
- Assist with administrative duties including typing, filing, and mail distribution.
Requirements
- Ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/staff, and the general public.
