About the Role
Trusted Shops aims to become the #1 Community of Trust by helping businesses build online trust and empowering consumers. As products, reporting, and AI use cases grow, the need for standardized data products increases. You and your team will own the journey from raw data to documented, trustworthy data products for both people and machines.
Responsibilities
- Own the product portfolio and roadmap for the domain, driving the shift from reactive requests to proactive, reusable metric standards.
- Run data products end-to-end, understanding consumers, tracking trust and adoption.
- Define the semantic layer, including metric and dimension definitions, metadata, and documentation.
- Provide metrics-as-a-service through an API for product engineering teams.
- Act as the point of contact for internal consumers and product teams, managing expectations and trade-offs.
- Align shared standards and dimensions with the Finance Data Domain team.
- Collaborate with the Data Platform team as a service provider.
Requirements
- Several years of product management experience, including ownership of data or analytics products.
- Strong data-as-a-product mindset with a focus on consumers, quality, governance, semantic consistency, and measurable adoption.
- Proven ability to define and standardize metrics and data concepts for consistent use across teams and use cases.
- Demonstrated experience leading in complex environments, setting direction under ambiguity, and making autonomous decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to align diverse groups without formal authority.
- Solid understanding of modern data ecosystems and tooling, ideally including lakehouse architectures, dbt, semantic layers, reporting platforms, and AI-enabled data access patterns.
